Our workshops can cover inventing, engineering, coding and design for KS1 and KS2 and a variety of additional science topics for early years both in schools and nurseries.

British Science Week 2026: Workshops include:

Our brand new Understanding Artificial Intelligence workshops, or explore our range of workshops below, many of which have an element linked to curiosity

We learn about what AI is and where it’s used, looking at fun examples safely as a class. We then find out how AI and machine learning work, including how AI can make mistakes and should be used responsibly, before designing our own useful AI classroom helpers.

NOTE: This workshop will be available from January 2026, In- person or virtual, but you can book before then.

What you get if you book an In-Person Workshop:

Qualified teachers delivering the workshop to up to 5 classes in a day or 4 classes and an assembly
Practical Activities that emphasise problem solving, collaboration and creative thinking along with computing concepts and skills.
Materials List including all the printables for the workshop.
Teacher Information Sheet telling you what we cover, the National Curriculum Links and some follow up ideas to extend the learning.
Parent Information Sheet to include parents in their children's learning.

The opportunity to book an additional CPD or KS2 After School AI Club, run by our experienced staff, on the day of the workshop.

What you get if you book a Virtual Workshop:

Interactive Video Workshop with easy to follow instructions to pause and do activities, meaning all the planning and teaching is done for you.
Practical Activities that emphasise problem solving, collaboration and creative thinking along with computing concepts and skills.
Materials List including all the printables for the workshop.
Teacher Information Sheet telling you what we cover, the National Curriculum Links and some follow up ideas to extend the learning.
Parent Information Sheet to include parents in their children's learning.
Display Printables to have a display all ready to go up on your wall.
Certificates to print for pupils to celebrate their learning.

The workshop will take around 60-90 minutes in total.

For just £99* you can use the workshop with as many KS1 classes as you like for one whole school year on your own schedule.

Please be aware that for this workshop you will need to source some simple materials in advance such as paper cups, pipecleaners and googly eyes. We estimate the total materials costs for running this workshop with one class of 30 pupils would be less than £15 with each additional class costing significantly less than this.

* Discounts are available when purchasing more than one workshop at the same time, for small schools or when you will use the workshop with a single class.

Day Itinerary*

STEM Workshops

We can fit in up to 5 individual class workshops in a day, and can cover larger schools over a longer period of time. We have also developed a Kickstart option, with an assembly for KS1, LKS2, UKS2 and short classroom visits, to cover larger schools. We can also include EYFS in this format. We also have options of running a Key Stage Assembly plus 4 individual class workshops over a school day. We also have options for single-class sessions.

Learning Outcomes and Curriculum Links

EYFS:
Rather than speak about AI, we start with the computing basics, learning about logic, sequencing and directional coding using offline practical activities, songs, movement and story.
Curriculum Links: Computer Science, Maths, Speaking & listening,
KS1 & KS2:
We introduce what AI is and where it is used, looking at fun examples online safely as a class. We then learn about how AI works, covering mistakes and bias, before designing our own useful AI using micro:bits for KS2 and an unplugged activity for KS1. *For safeguarding, we ask that for KS2 workshops, schools provide their own computers to use with our micro:bits
Curriculum Links: Computer Science, PE

Cost

We aim to fit everyone's budget and can tailor what you want to fit your budget. We can run regular sessions in nurseries or EYFS, or an hour's workshop.

Some schools use our virtual clubs to raise funds for DT and Computing in their setting.
