Dry Ice Volcanoes School Workshops

Dry ice volcanoes workshop exploring eruptions, states of matter & natural disasters, SEND-friendly.

Bring science to life with our Dry Ice Volcanoes Workshop! Pupils will create rumbling, fizzing volcanoes that erupt with dramatic clouds of fog, exploring the science behind the effects. The workshop links directly to the National Curriculum, covering states of matter, reversible and irreversible changes, chemical reactions, and natural disasters. Activities encourage observation, prediction, discussion, and recording results, helping pupils develop key scientific skills. Fully adaptable for SEND pupils, the workshop offers sensory-friendly options, small group support, and step-by-step guidance, ensuring all children can participate. Safe, exciting, and curriculum-linked, this session sparks curiosity and leaves a lasting impression of science in action.

Katie expertly adapts the session for our SEND groups, making the science engaging, safe, and accessible for everyone. Everyone loves the rumbling, fog and bubbles. We can’t recommend Katie highly enough, her workshops are fun, educational, and memorable every single time.
