The states of Matter
Learning Outcomes: Pupils will be able to describe the three states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas. They will observe and explain the process of sublimation, where a substance changes directly from a solid to a gas. Pupils will understand and observe the effects of temperature on matter. They will practice working scientifically by making predictions, observing results, and asking questions

Requirements

Requirements for a Hands-On Dry Ice Workshop:

To ensure a safe and successful workshop, we require the following from your school:

A standard classroom or school hall with tables (without chairs).
Access to a sink and mains power socket.
Set up time: 30 minutes before the first session.
Reset time: 10 minutes between each session to prepare for the next group.
Health and safety: For sessions involving pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), please ensure a carer is present to assist as needed.
