Kidz Fit - Health & Fitness Workshop
- Bring the P.E. and PHSE curriculum to life with our Health and Fitness workshop, using age-appropriate activities, visual aids and video content.
- Highlight the importance of daily exercise and the risks associated with leading an inactive lifestyle.
- Discuss a balanced healthy diet, understanding the nutritional content of different food groups, and calories. The effect of poor diet, such as excess sugar/salt and fat, possibly leading to tooth decay and obesity.
- Kidz Fit daily health tips, such as adequate sleep, personal/oral hygiene, fruits/vegetables, hydration and limiting electronics usage.
- Year 5 and 6 will discuss the harmful effect of smoking and damaged caused to the lungs.
- Children can continue learning and be creative on the Kidz Zone.
