The Environment - Nurturing Nature Workshop for Schools

Curriculum Links: This workshop supports several areas of the UK Primary Curriculum. In Science, it links to topics on living things and their habitats, the environment and understanding how humans impact the world around them, including early learning about climate and sustainability. In Geography, it connects to identifying natural and man-made environments, understanding environmental change, and developing a sense of responsibility for the planet. In English, pupils build speaking and listening skills through drama, role-play, performance, and discussion, as well as responding creatively to themes through poetry. In Drama and Performing Arts, children develop confidence, imagination, collaboration, and expressive skills. The workshop also supports PSHE, encouraging responsibility, empathy, teamwork, and awareness of how individual actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.
