How we work
Our workshops include tailored, fully interactive, drama games, role play, team work exercises, songs, movement and more, led by a professional costumed actor.
Join Beatrice, a passionate environmentalist and dedicated beekeeper, as she sparks curiosity about our planet and the importance of sustainability. Through drama and play, Beatrice guides children on an exciting journey to understand the environment and how we can protect it. In this lively workshop, children will take part in fast-paced drama games to explore climate and climate change, dive into natural and man-made environments through improvisation, and investigate real-world environmental challenges in a fun ‘news report’ role-play. They will also perform an eco-friendly poem to bring sustainability to life through creativity and finish with a quick-fire quiz to test their new knowledge.

"Equally impressive was the environment workshop, which perfectly complemented our recent focus on sustainability and protecting the planet. The content reinforced key messages we had been exploring in class and provided a real-world context that helped deepen the children’s understanding. The hands-on approach made the learning both memorable and impactful."
Through drama, children are able to experience a subject, complementing and enhancing their learning in the classroom. The Drama Hut was founded in 2012, as a resource for primary schools, to help bring the curriculum to life and support learning. Whether you choose to have us visit you online or on-site, our workshops are delivered live, offering an interactive learning experience for all primary school aged children throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.
We require a clear space to work in and at least one member of staff to be present. We work with a maximum of 30 children at a time, unless prearranged with the school.
