Step aboard the Titanic and experience its famous voyage through the eyes of Molly Brown, a real-life passenger, socialite, and philanthropist. In this immersive drama workshop, children will explore the historical context of the Titanic through role-play, storytelling, and performance. They’ll begin by creating dramatic freeze-frames to capture key moments, learning about the ship’s design, its passengers, and the events leading up to the disaster. Pupils will take on roles from different classes and walks of life, using poetry and improvisation to reimagine life on board,from boarding the ship to dining in the grand hall and working below deck. They’ll then invent their own characters, develop backstories, and reflect on their personal journeys through storytelling and hot-seating.
