Exciting Egyptian Dance Workshops for Schools

We bring the energy and rhythms of Egyptian dance to your class. Linking to ancient Egypt in our dance workshops, you can be a Pharaoh, snake charmer or belly dancer in our creative Egyptian workshops! Led by Zest teachers who bring costumes and props to show too.

Egpytian dance

Step back in time with our Encient Egyptian dance workshops!

They are great for boys and girls who love the energetic, traditional music we use.

At the start of each workshop we show some authentic Egpytian props, pictures, a flag and costumes, to give students a real taste of the country and dance style.

Our creative Egyptian dance workshops include some belly dance, snake charming and being a pharoah!

The workshops will follow this format:

Brief introduction into Egyptian dance and it's history
Showing costumes and props
Dance warm up
Teaching a dance routine
The students may have time to work on and add on a bit of their choreography
Cool down and stretch

Cost

Half day workshops from £250.00 plus travel

Full day workshops from £380.00 plus travel

The travel costs will be added if you are outside London. They are calculated depending on your school's location and we will find the cheapest option for you.

We take up to 30 students per workshop. If you have more than that taking part that is fine, we would just need to provide multiple dance teachers for your workshops.
