Street dance
Street dance started in the 80's in NYC in Amarica, with groups of friends gathering on the streets with a piece of lino on the floor and a ghettoblaster. It was a free space to get friends together to dance and socialise.
These days, Street dance is done at parties and seen in music videos across the world. It's a general term for a funky dance style, set to chart music which is popular and recogniseable. This makes it a really popular dance style for students of all ages and genders.
If you have a favourite song in mind that you want to dance to, let us know and we can create a dance especially for your group!
