With extensive experience in medieval reenactment, our leaders have spent countless hours mastering the use of historical weapons. If you choose to book David (King Henry VIII), this introduction will be transformed into a grand Royal Entrance, complete with fanfare.
Workshop Activities
Weapons and Armour Exploration: Pupils will have the exciting opportunity to handle a variety of replica Tudor weapons and armour. This hands-on experience allows them to get up close with history—perfect for memorable photos with some truly formidable Tudor weaponry!
Weapons Drill: Pupils will be put to the test as they learn how to wield a Tudor weapon effectively. Can they march in formation, follow battlefield commands, and prove their skills in a mock battle? If you book David (Henry VIII), this session will be replaced with Tudor Dancing, as he is a master of the art!
Tudor Games: Pupils will be introduced to two popular Tudor board games before putting their skills to the test in a fun and interactive session of historical gameplay.
Archery Challenge: Renowned for their legendary longbow skills, English archers were among the best in history. Can your pupils match their ancestors’ abilities? Using modern bows and suction arrows, they will take aim at targets, just as Tudor hunters once did on their expeditions!
