Option 1 - Black Death
A journey through how people reacted to the Black Death in 1348: - Hid away; Found scapegoats; sought God's forgiveness; went on pilgrimage; partied their last days away. Period music played on reproduction instruments ending with a medieval dance.

Option 2 - Pilgrimage to Rome in 1350
Participants choose their characters and their groups and try to go on pilgrimage to Rome and spend 15 days visiting the holy sights while plague stalks the streets. Their choices will determine who will survive. These can be combined for either a longer workshop or a similar length workshop that covers both aspects but in less depth.

Option 3 - Claire's Storytelling and Music
Storyteller and Musician, tells stories, gives talks and plays music. She has taught people to dance in schools and communities , galleries and festivals. She has run banquets where she re-enacted the battle of Agincourt with puppets. She has played medieval music at Museum and the Tower of London and talked about the Peasants Revolt and pilgrimage.Sheis multi skilled and has taught people to juggle at Arundel Castle and played crumhorns in local establishments.

Faciltator - Claire
Clare is a storyteller, musician, and workshop leader with experience in schools, festivals, and historic sites. She re-enacts historical events, teaches medieval dance and juggling, and performs medieval music.
