Pop-up Planetarium for Schools Workshops

Bring the Universe to your School!

High-definition planetarium experience covering the Earth in Space, the Solar System, and constellations of the night sky. We visit the International Space Station; and observe how the Moon, rockets and satellites move relative to the Earth. The 360° planetarium can also dynamically describe the phases of the Moon, the reason for the seasons, and even take children on a hyper-realistic virtual rollercoaster ride to experience inertia, gravity and centripetal acceleration!

Format

Presenter-led, interactive look at the current night sky followed by a 360˚ film

Age Groups

Discover Planets and Exoplanets

Explore not only the planets and other objects of our Solar System, but also the now frequent discovery of planets around other stars: exoplanets. With 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone, how many Earth-like planets could exist out there?

Hold a Famous Meteorite

Cradle in your hand a large fragment of one of the most famous meteorites in history, the one that gouged out Barringer Crater in Arizona, USA. Meteorites are 4.6 billion years old, so when you touch a meteorite you touch the oldest object you will ever touch.

Visit the International Space Station

Experience the docking of a spacecraft at the Station; float inside the ISS with astronauts; visit the kitchen, sleeping quarters and toilet; enjoy breathtaking views of planet Earth and discover why the Space Station doesn't fall on our heads.
