How we work
Our workshops include tailored, fully interactive, drama games, role play, team work exercises, songs, movement and more, led by a professional costumed actor.
Strap in for a thrilling journey through time with aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. Bursting with adventure, this interactive workshop introduces children to some of history’s greatest explorers, from Christopher Columbus and Joseph Banks to Bessie Coleman, Nellie Bly, and Neil Armstrong. Through drama, movement, and imagination, pupils will discover what it truly means to be an explorer and why people are driven to explore. They will build a timeline of famous explorers, step into history through improvisation and role play, bring a poem to life through performance, and test their knowledge in a fun, fast-paced quiz. An inspiring session that sparks curiosity, confidence, and a sense of adventure.

"Excellent experience and the children were very engaged. Children enjoyed the drama activities and the movements to help remember what each explorer was famous for (trade, science etc.) Fantastic workshop would recommend and use again. Thank you!”
Through drama, children are able to experience a subject, complementing and enhancing their learning in the classroom. The Drama Hut was founded in 2012, as a resource for primary schools, to help bring the curriculum to life and support learning. Whether you choose to have us visit you online or on-site, our workshops are delivered live, offering an interactive learning experience for all primary school aged children throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.
We require a clear space to work in and at least one member of staff to be present. We work with a maximum of 30 children at a time, unless prearranged with the school.
