Number of sessions per day:
As many as needed for the school day. I can rotate through shorter sessions with different groups, or work with one group for a full day. The more time with each group, the more effective.
Ideally, a full day with a full sized class, or half a day with a smaller group of 10-15 can be very effective. This provides theory and practice, where every student is able to build confidence and learn how to use their voice and body language. Students leave with knowledge, skills and more confidence.
I’m open to running teacher training after a school day too.
Number of participants per session:
I can run the workshops with larger groups, for example, I have run them with classes of around 30. However, it obviously is more effective per child with smaller groups of around 10-15, so that everybody has a go at getting up and presenting something (it’s also less daunting for them to present to a smaller group, so each individual typically leaves feeling more successful).
I have also presented to several classes together, teaching the theory for a single session, then breaking the group down and rotating the smaller groups with a practice and presentation, it can work, but isn’t ideal.
