A STEM Showcase School Workshops

A STEM showcase is ideal for exhibition and festivals

A STEM Showcase is an interactive, hands-on exhibition where students of all ages can explore and engage with a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) equipment and activities. During a STEM Showcase, we set up multiple tables or stands featuring different STEM-themed stations. These are designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and support learning through play and discovery.

Each group of children typically spends 25–30 minutes exploring the stations at their own pace, making this format ideal for reaching a large number of pupils over the course of a school/event day.

Format

Typically, one set-up consists of three tables and can deliver 10 sessions of 25–30 minutes during a school event day, accommodating around 20 participants per session—that’s up to 200 participants.

Age Groups

EYFS - Y13, Adult Learners, Reception, Higher Education, Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Exhibition Stand Content

A exhibition set-up will include 3 or more tables/stands consisting of the following equipment*:

 

  • Coding stations and mini robots
  • Microscopes
  • Bridge structures
  • Water tornados/whirlpools
  • Cardstock aircraft gliders
  • Sling rockets
  • Mini windmills

 

Other items may include a drone and additional robots.

* The equipment may vary depending on the type of the event and will be agreed before the event.

Requirements

  • Must remain in the same venue/classroom for the duration of the whole day to run all of the sessions.
  • Indoor or a sheltered venue with at least 3 tables.
  • Few spare plug sockets.
  • Preferable: Guest user Wifi username and password.
  • Preferable: A computer/laptop with projector/interactive whiteboard or smart screen with sound enabled.
