What is the process in creating a mural?
The process of creating a hand-drawn mural starts with an initial consultation to explore your ideas, themes and the overall feel you want for the space. I then produce concept sketches based on our discussion, allowing time for feedback and refinements. Once the design is approved, I prepare the wall, taking measurements and selecting colours. The mural is then carefully hand-drawn, building up layers of detail to bring the artwork to life. Depending on your needs, a protective finish can be applied, followed by a final walkthrough to make sure everything meets your expectations.
Can our visitors / customers watch you draw?
That’s absolutely fine with me. Watching others draw is well known to be theraputic and relaxing. So if you’re happy for me to work in your public space; cafe, hospital, play area, or exhibition, you may find people taking time out to watch the transformation of your mural unfold in real-time and often spread the word on social media, so it’s a win win.
