The Science of Sound – A Whole-Class STEM Guitar E School Workshops

“Matt from Kids That Rock delivered an amazing full-day workshop for our Year 4 children, and it was a huge success. The children absolutely loved it! Every child had the opportunity for hands-on learning, including playing the guitar, which made the experience truly memorable. We were also able to link the workshop perfectly with the launch of Times Tables Rock Stars for Year 4, helping to promote excitement and confidence ahead of the multiplication tables check in the summer. The children especially loved dressing up and fully immersing themselves in the experience. “Matt has been working with our Year 4 class for the last few weeks and from day one identified the children who needed extra support. His calm and positive approach ensures that the children are immersed in their guitar lessons and want to succeed. Matt guides the children so that they learn lots of new songs within a short space of time which improves self-esteem and concentration. Many of our children have asked their grown-ups for guitars! Within the space of five lessons, Matt has encouraged all of the children to persevere, try their best and most importantly, to have fun and enjoy their guitar lessons. All of the Year 4 children performed a concert in front of the whole school and their parents/carers and were incredibly proud of their achievements.
