An intro into the Olympic sport of sabre fencing. Build confidence and learn a unique skill!
We are Shakespeare's Swords Fencing Club - a nationally renowned sabre club located in Stratford-Upon-Avon, with a legacy of over 30 years in producing top sabre fencers in the UK. We would like to offer your school our School Enrichment Sessions – a fast and exciting intro into the Olympic sport of sabre fencing. In this workshop, students will: • Take part in fun games that teach fundamental fencing skills • Learn fencing footwork • Learn how to attack and defend against an opponent • Duel with each other in competitive sparring We provide all equipment ourselves students will just need appropriate clothing and footwear. This session is fully customizable for your school’s needs, making it ideal for enrichment/activity days running on tight schedules. When it comes to duration, number of pupils, physical ability, etc. just let us know your specifications and we’ll do the rest!
