- Bullying & Cyberbullying: Define bullying and recognise examples of it, identify which actions cross the line between ‘banter’ and bullying, finding help and know who to speak to if they’re worried about something online, how to prevent or stop bullying.
- Online Behaviour & Sexting: What is ‘acceptable behaviour’ online, what are the common online behaviour rules, what are the possible consequences for unacceptable online behaviour, how can we protect ourselves from stranger danger and abuse online, managing online issues
- Digital Resilience & Social Gaming: Understand what digital resilience means, reflect on your own internet and gaming use, be able to give a friend advice about what to do when it goes, wrong, Understand the effects of social media on the brain & our mental health, identify ways to respond appropriately to social media posts.
- Staying Safe Online: Sharing online personal information is a choice, when and when not to share personal information online, why personal information shouldn’t be shared with everyone online, the difference between an upstander and a bystander, why it is important to be an upstander online, what actions they can take to be a good friend online.
