World War I & World War II School Workshops

Bring History to Life in our 360° Domes!

Unique historical experiences consisting of presenter-led, interactive components followed by a 360° film. The horrors of both WWI and WWII are implied but never shown, making these fulldome shows suitable for upper KS2 and older. The performances include a presenter-led trip back in time with the planetarium to see what was in the night sky during a particular event of your choosing (eg. The Battle of the Somme or The Blitz); adding an extra dimension of realism and understanding to your pupils' appreciation of these events.

Testimonials

"We learned in the introduction about the planets visible in the sky above Newport on the nights of the bombings. This was new information we've never taught before as part of our topic. The children were fully engaged and excited. Mario was very knowledgable and calming throughout what can be a sensitive topic. Highly recommended!"
